Our realtor was Allan Minter. We would highly recommend him. Our sale was especially difficult because he had to not only deal with the market conditions but also our relocation company and, to be honest, the relo company did not really have their act together. They placed additional, somewhat frustrating, requirements on Allan over and above keeping us informed of progress. He never missed a beat or complained a bit, the guy is a dynamo (think energizer bunny) and works his tail off. Probably the MOST important characteristic about Allan (especially for us, having already moved out of town) is that when you called him, you would either get him or he would return your call quickly. He was constantly making suggestions of ways that he could improve traffic. He held several open houses and hosted more than one agent caravan to bring in traffic. Another thing is that he has a LONG track record in the Mableton/Smryna/Vinings area and has strong relationships with the other top producers in the area. This guy is a machine and I can't say enough good things about him. We could not have picked a worse market cycle in which to sell our home and, if not for Allan, it could have driven us over the edge. He was the one bright spot in the entire process.

I purchased a condo in Vinings/Smyrna in 2009 that Allan was selling. The negotiation went well, and I got a good deal on it. Several months later I asked Allan to be my Realtor, and help me find a single family home. Allan worked very hard for me showing me homes in my price range, and homes that had what I wanted. My search was pretty spread out over Atlanta, and Allan is very knowlegeable of the entire Atlanta market which helped my decision on which county, school district, etc. I was impressed with his timeliness, responsiveness, and willingness to listen to me. In addition to the homes he found for me, I also sent him a number of homes that I had found that he was willing and able to get me in for a showing. When I met Allan at the house I ended up purchasing, he had a smile on his face. I asked him why and he said, "I think this house has everything you have been looking for!" He was right. I knew right away that this was "my" house. He helped me to close quickly and even got me a lower price than my original offer price. I highly recommend Allan. I have already referred a couple of friends to him, and I know he found a house for friends of mine moving here to Atlanta. He is by far the best Realtor I have worked with.

I first spoke to Allan about the intricacies of a short sale. Allan listened carefully and suggested before I considered a short sale, I should attempt to market the property for sale at the correct price point. Allan is very knowledgable about putting together a listing which will appeal to audience interested in a specific price point. Allan helped me price the property correctly. After the first offer fell thru because of financing issues, Allan was adroit enough to go to a Plan B quickly. His negotiating skills were firm but not inflexible. Allan had to stay on top of the second offer inasmuch as the purchaser was out of the country and unable to have all papers signed and notarized properly. Allan communicated via email and encouraged the buyer to work with all deliberate haste to get to the American Embassy in London where the paperwork could be signed and notarized. His emails to the prospective buyer were firm but not coercive. Meanwhile, Allan had another buyer in the wings and patiently explained to me the ins and outs of the third buyer. Allan's attention to detail was superb and his communicating skills, written and verbal, most impressive. I highly recommend Allan Minter and am most grateful I had the opportunity to work with him.
